The App is designed primarily for young children (ages 3 to 6+). We strictly comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for children, and Apple Inc.'s App Store Kids Category guidelines. Children's safety and digital privacy are our highest priorities.
2. Zero Personal Data Collection
We do NOT collect, request, store, transmit, or share any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children or parents. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Names, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
- Financial or credit card details (all payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple Inc.).
- Device contacts, phonebooks, calendars, or SMS logs.
- Camera, microphone, photo library, or precise GPS location data.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA / IDFV) or cross-app tracking tokens.
3. Local Data Storage Only
- To maintain gameplay and learning progress, the App saves a minimal set of non-personal data strictly on your device's local storage (Local Device Storage / SwiftData):
- Tracing practice history and star reward counts.
- Unlocked status of character packs (e.g., Hiragana, Katakana, Numbers).
- App preferences (audio volume, haptics toggle, selected language).
- This data remains strictly on your device and is never uploaded to external servers, cloud databases, or third parties.
- Deleting or uninstalling the App will erase all locally stored learning progress.
4. Complete Exclusion of Ads & Tracking
- The App is 100% ad-free. We do not incorporate any third-party ad networks (such as AdMob or Unity Ads). Children will never encounter pop-up ads or external promotional videos.
- We do not include third-party behavioral analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) that track user behavior across apps or websites.
5. Parental Gate
To prevent accidental in-app purchases or unintended navigation to external links (such as support pages or legal terms) by young children, the App enforces a mandatory Parental Gate (math challenge) prior to granting access to purchase screens or web links.
6. Support Communications
If a parent contacts us directly via email (kichiemond@gmail.com) for customer support, we will use the provided email address solely to investigate and respond to the inquiry. We do not use support email addresses for marketing purposes or share them with third parties.
